Caravan Made are our exclusive caterer (& the only exclusive supplier). We entered into this partnership in 2023 and have never looked back. They were the natural choice of the vast majority of our couples, who were drawn to them by their fresh, modern and seasonal take on gastronomy, along with their understated style, impeccable service and strong ethics.

ABOUT CARAVAN MADE
Sílvia and Javi created Caravan Made in 2013, originally as a street food project serving culinary creations from a lovingly-restored 1970s caravan (which is still being lovingly used today and lives in L'Era at This Must Be The Place). Previously Javi had worked at the prestigious (and 3 Michelin star holding) El Celler de Can Roca.
In 2019 they decided to focus their efforts on catering for weddings and events. This is also the year that we hosted our first weddings at This Must Be The Place and the year that we first met them (thanks to the wonderful wedding of Lou & Pau!).
Today Caravan Made is an amazing team led out front and in communications by Sílvia, with help from Ivette, Alicia and Claudia, and in the kitchen by Javi, with help from Albert and Domi. Plus they have a superb support team of sous chefs and waiting staff.
FOOD
Seasonal, honest and locally sourced ingredients are at the heart of what Caravan Made do. Their dishes are the perfect blend of their families' recipes, their travels around the world and a 'back to basics' philosophy. They love to let the highest quality ingredients shine by themselves.
Their food will be delicious, there will be (more than) plenty of it, and it will be worldly-wise. Many of the Spanish and Catalan classics will be present... paella, croquetas, patatas bravas, jamón ibérico, pinchos, pan con tomate... the list is endless... but their menu also features Peruvian Ceviche, Mexican Tacos, Korean Ssam, Japanese Gyoza, Chinese Bao and Middle Eastern Mezze. Just reading their menu will make your mouth water.

DRINK
Caravan Made will serve drinks to your guests throughout the whole celebration, with a bar during the aperitivo and the party and table service during the dinner. Their menu proposal features a fantastic selection of natural and organic wines and cavas from local Catalan vineyards, and they also serve draft lager and IPA from the excellent local artisan brewery Cerveza del Montseny, alongside spirits and mixers.
There are also options to add on signature cocktails, cava towers, craft beers, sangria, margaritas and much more... whatever tickles your tastebuds!
FURNITURE
Caravan Made will also organise the hire, setup and management of all additional items of furniture, glassware, crockery, and cutlery for you. There are many many options available to you for all these things, and Caravan are experts at finding and recommending the right items for your particular style, colour pallet and budget. They can also help with the design and printing of menu cards.
MENU TASTING
Such a special day!!! Included in the cost of the food and drink for your wedding is a menu tasting with Caravan Made (about 6 months before your wedding). Here you will taste an extended selection of their dishes with the aim to select all the dishes that will be presented to your guests. You'll also try a selection of wines and cavas, the Montseny craft beer, and any cocktails that you are considering.
And you will be treated like the Kings and/or Queens that you really are. It is akin to experiencing a private tasting menu at one of the world's top restaurants... combined with the excitement of what you are organising for your friends and family. So so so special!!!
THE 5 STAGES OF YOUR WEDDING DAY
Weddings in Spain typically flow between 5 stages - a Welcome Drink, the Ceremony, the Aperitivo (aka The Cocktail), the Dinner (aka The Reception) and the Party.
Caravan Made will be close by at every step of this journey to provide you and your guests with gourmet food and drink, and high-quality service.
